“A wonderful and authentic experience”
We were thrilled by the stay, feeling more like family than hotel guests from the moment we arrived at this 300‑year‑old villa. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, and the family genuinely cared for us, often chatting and sharing local stories when we had time. Breakfast stood out, prepared by the grandmother with homemade jams, marmalades, pastries, freshly baked bread, and eggs cooked to order—everything tasted truly homemade. The historic rooms, furnished with old‑style furniture, matched the house’s character while remaining exceptionally clean and well maintained, with fresh towels, spotless linens, and a note confirming disinfection. The property itself was beautiful and peaceful, offering convenient private parking inside the gated area. The private bathroom, though not in the bedroom, was only a short walk up or down the stairs, typical of historic houses, and that was fine for us. We didn’t expect such a wonderful experience in a small village, yet it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. If you’re driving and have extra time, this place is a beautiful way to slow down, experience a historic home, and enjoy genuine Italian hospitality. We’d gladly return.
