The Dial House Hotel in Bourton-on-the-Water offers a tranquil retreat amidst honey-hued stonewall buildings and serene gardens. This boutique hotel is situated in the heart of the idyllic village, near The Model Village, Bourton Model railway, St. Lawrence's Church, Cotswold Perfumery, and Cotswold Motoring Museum. It's 40 minutes from Blenheim Palace and 10 miles from Sudeley Castle.

Friendly and efficient staff made everything run smoothly, and the service was top‑class; the food was delicious and breakfast delightful, while the location was spot‑on. The room did have a few spots needing paint, but overall I was very satisfied.

The place was stunning, set in a beautiful village, and our two‑bedroom room was spacious with a large bathroom; every detail was carefully considered to make the stay comfortable, making it the top choice for us.

The room was gorgeous, roomy and comfortable, and I would highly recommend staying here; the village offers plenty to explore, and the hosts and staff were wonderful.

The setting is picturesque, yet the property doesn’t match the price or the location. The bedroom was too small, lacked air conditioning, a fridge, a minibar, a cupboard, and room service—despite the website listing those amenities. We arrived Sunday around 2 pm, ate lunch at the restaurant for £137.25 for two (charged separately from the room) with no wine, which felt overpriced. The hotel closed at about 5 pm, leaving no staff or reception to ask questions; it was a warm day and the room had no water bottle. At £320.00 a night for the room alone, the experience was very disappointing.
