The new owner brought nice upgrades, but my air conditioner was very noisy.

Breakfast was great—eggs, sausage, potatoes, and other snacks—though the coffee could be stronger; your site is great for a stay.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel was the only place nearby that could fit three people. The room had two queen beds, a flush toilet, a sink, and a clean pool to swim in. We arrived around 9:30 pm and paid $185.13 for a room that didn’t live up to our expectations. The property looked dated, with visible patches and poor workmanship throughout. In room 117, the bathtub and shower faucet leaked nonstop no matter how we tried to tighten the handle, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly. The cleaning product, Fabuloso, was so strong we had to ventilate the room for over two hours, yet the chemical smell lingered and even soaked the sheets. I talked with the manager the next morning about these problems. We skipped breakfast because of our disappointment, and when we checked into the next hotel I had to clean my CPAP machine thoroughly because its hoses had absorbed the lingering Fabuloso scent from our room.

The front desk staff offered helpful advice and pointed out cheap food spots and a gas station just a short walk away. Everything else was fine.
