The dormitory was good, but the coffee room was not.

The breakfast was good and the staff were attentive, especially one employee who was a baiana like me, extremely kind and empathetic; the location was great, walking to the destination 10 minutes from Vale do Anhangabaú. The negatives included a kind of step around the bed that we kept bumping into, noisy air‑conditioning, and the absence of room service despite it being listed. The main issue was the way lights and air‑conditioning were turned on and off: a key on a stand next to the door is supposedly cheaper for the hotel, but it’s terrible when two people are staying, one has to go downstairs for food while the other has to stay in the dark because there’s only one key, so the convenience is zero.

For those who need a hotel that feels like home, this is it! The cleaning is impeccable, the bedding and towels are new and very clean, the breakfast is simple but very well prepared. Even though it’s an old building, the owner keeps it very well maintained and organized. Every 40 days this hotel becomes our home! There is absolutely nothing we don’t like.
