Breakfast was really good, featuring fresh fruit, cereal, and a full cooked spread. We slept well, and the shower was powerful and hot. Our hosts Steven and Bronwyn were very welcoming and friendly—Steven cooks great scrambled eggs. The room could use better or stronger lighting; the energy‑saving bulbs are too dim for my old eyes.

We had an absolute gem of a stay at this place, thanks to the incredible owners who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From arranging a safe transfer to providing top-notch recommendations for local restaurants, they were the epitome of professionalism and kindness. The breakfasts were truly 10-star, and the morning chats were a lovely bonus. It's the perfect spot to stay between St Francis and Cape Town.

Bronwyn and Steve, the owners, really made our stay special - they're a lovely couple who know the area inside out and were always happy to lend a hand or recommend a great spot to eat. The room itself was a bit on the small side, but it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We did find the noise from the nearby road a bit of a nuisance, especially at night, but it wasn't too bad.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful place, thanks to the wonderful owners who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, which made it a bit too hot at night.

I was really looking forward to our stay at this peaceful retreat, and the serene surroundings did not disappoint. However, our experience was marred by the host's struggles to interact with our family. We'd informed her upfront about my son's autism and our guide dog in training, but it seemed like she wasn't entirely comfortable with it. The breakfast she packed for us was a bit of a letdown - it looked like it was thrown together in a hurry.
