“Maison de l'horreur”
Nothing good; the place was extremely dirty, food scraps were on the floor, the smell was awful, and it didn’t match the photos or the address—very bad location and unclean.

The hotel in the picture was a surprise full of drunk men, a male‑only place with no door security, and the bed was not made with the other guests’ sheets.

The hotel was very basic, suitable for a one‑night stay; it was close to the airport and restaurants and reasonably priced, the beds were fine, the bathroom was tidy, toiletries were simple, we received a water bottle, but there was no toilet paper; the staff were friendly and helped with everything, and there was an elevator. However, there was no toilet paper for those who need it, Booking contacted us saying the hotel claimed we never arrived, which is unclear; it’s important to get a receipt for payment because in India it’s usually cash, and many hotels don’t automatically provide a receipt or a formal invoice—if they offer a written receipt, it should be on hotel paper or stamped, or at least a photo of the room from inside to prove arrival.

I traveled to Chennai to visit my sister who studies at SMR College; the place was safe and the room was good, everything else was fine.
