The hotel owners were very courteous and helpful, the food and breakfast were good, it was close to the upper Werra spring, and it was an ideal starting point for cyclists.

The atmosphere felt like a guesthouse and beer garden, the kitchen was recommended, the prices were not cheap but not cheaper elsewhere either, the beds were very good, the furnishings were simple yet clean and matched the price‑performance ratio, and we had motorcycles with good parking. The breakfast was not as good as advertised, more disappointing; a single spider crawling through the room can happen but leaves a bad impression; the dining service made us feel like an uninvited guest; and on Pentecost Monday the guesthouse was closed.

I stayed in a clean, comfortable room and enjoyed a generous breakfast buffet, a good variety of dishes at the restaurant, friendly staff, and a parking spot right outside the hotel.

I booked two nights in this inn and got a nice room; the hosts were friendly and helpful, the food at the restaurant was excellent, and overall it was a very pleasant stay. Nothing to complain about.
