“154 Euro für eine Nacht ohne Schlaf – und anschließend soll nichts gewesen sein?! Schande!”
I would give it minus zero if I could! I paid 154 € for a night that turned out to be a nightmare. The HANSE HOTEL Attendorn was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. For a single night I spent 154 €, and what did I get? Practically no sleep. During my stay a large group of men from a company was also staying in the hotel, partying loudly until the early morning – both outside and inside the hotel. By 6 am the night was over, and it never really started for me. This wasn’t a one‑off hallway chatter or a tolerable noise for a night’s stay; it was hours of noise. I complained that night, but nothing happened. The next morning I raised the issue again. The reception knew about it and apologized. At breakfast I learned from the staff that members of that group were discussing how loud they were and apparently found it very amusing. At this point I ask myself: why do I pay 154 € for a room if the hotel can’t even ensure that guests can sleep at night? A hotel should be a retreat. When you book a room you pay not just for a bed and four walls, but also for a night’s rest. If a group wants to turn the hotel into a party zone until dawn, it’s the hotel’s responsibility to set limits and protect other guests. That didn’t happen here. To top it off, there were hairs in my omelet at breakfast. Losing a customer seems easier today than taking responsibility for a miserable night.
