The rooms are brand‑new, spotless and feel very modern, and the garden is something you don’t see every day. The host was friendly and check‑in was a breeze, plus everything we wanted to see or eat was just a short drive away. Over the two nights we wished the towels had been refreshed and the toiletries topped up, and the hairdryer was a bit sticky to hold.

From the warm welcome by Jess to the high‑quality room, everything at River Retreats felt top‑notch and tranquil. The room itself was comfortable and well‑appointed, yet only a few minutes' drive from the charming town.
