The common areas are very spacious and open. The pool, though a bit cold, sits inside a beautiful garden with plenty of greenery and banana and fig trees. The bathroom, while a bit cramped with a swinging door that could be replaced by a sliding door, has a large comfortable shower cubicle. The beds are very comfortable. The little terrace is nice and we made full use of it for a few lunches and dinners. The gas stove was also used several times. The fridge is large and works well. Breakfast at the partner bar was excellent (the fruit waffles, panzerotti, croissants and cappuccino were good). The kitchen/living area needs better climate control/ventilation; there was an air‑conditioner but it was broken, and on these summer days with temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees it would have been a blessing. The owner assured us that he’s working on replacing the system as soon as possible, so we trust that this single issue will be resolved quickly.
