I scored it 7.0/10: the staff were very attentive and the location was perfect—close to everything yet not in the center, so nighttime noise was avoided. However, the bed in room L1 seemed to have bedbugs or something similar; the sheets were clean, but I woke up every day with a lot of bites. I stayed for a week and no one offered to clean the room any day, and with the beach sand and the typical Philippine bathrooms, the place got pretty dirty.

I gave it 5.0/10. I was moved to L1 for another night as booked, and the room was bigger, which was great and the beds were comfy. Because it’s downstairs, there were people behind the wall—probably the owners’ family or workers—playing TikToks really loudly at 11 pm; I told them to turn it down, it stopped for 5 minutes then resumed. There’s a musty smell that disappears when the air‑con is on, but you’re greeted by it every time you turn it off. I’m also pretty sure I got bed‑bug bites from L1.

I gave it 8.0/10; the location in El Nido was fantastic, the patio was charming, and the room had everything needed, but a refrigerator would have been a plus.
