“Close location to my home in aruppola. Room is decent enough. The bathroom is managebale”
Not too pricey, AC room, comfy bed. The shower and toilet are too close together.

Nice location. Comfortable room. Staff friendly. We couldn’t see outside from the room (had to go out to see the dam). Hot water was unreliable. Breakfast didn’t match what we paid.

The pictures. We called ahead to see if we could book in. We have been booking 1 night in a few places and extending to two if we have wanted to explore for longer (which has been 95% of the time during our 30 day visit to Sri Lanka) When the lady answered the phone she wasn't happy it was for one night. We said we would get a call back confirming either way. That didn't happen so assuming we were forgotten, we booked the day before our stay. On the morning of our stay while travelling from Ella to Kandy the accommodation was cancelled, reason being, a water leak. We were offered a sister accommodation but decided to book in with someone else, impeding our journey. We were disappointed. Ended up staying in Kandy for 2 nights anyway. The cancellation didn't feel very transparent to us considering we're traveling in shoulder season and lots of places are preparing to open for high season

Nice rooms, friendly staff, clean and cheap for what you get. Not within walking distance of the city, but close enough that a tuk‑tuk or taxi won’t be expensive.

The place sits in a calm spot, the rooms are roomy, and the facilities are excellent, especially the spa and the dining on site. The view of the Mahaweli Ganga from the hotel is gorgeous, giving a peaceful, picturesque vibe that’s great for unwinding. The only downside was that there were no free water bottles in the room, which was a small hassle. The Wi‑Fi was sluggish and hit‑hacked, so staying online was tough; a stronger, reliable connection in every room would be a welcome improvement.
