“Rude staff member, walls made of paper, bad hotel”
The location was good, with plenty of nearby attractions and a close beach. However, I messaged the hotel four days before arrival about a bag‑storage and late check‑out request and never heard back. When we arrived, a woman with long hair was friendly and offered to see if we could check in early, but she left to get a porter while another staff member with a small neck tattoo barked at me and said no rooms were available until 4 pm, then returned to her phone. We left. A different man checked us in with no complaints. At check‑out, the same tattooed lady was on her phone throughout the entire interaction, sighing when I asked to store our bags until departure and telling me to find the porter. Her behavior suggested she was more focused on her phone than on guests, making us feel unwelcome. My partner and I ended up having the worst sleep of our trip: thin walls let us hear neighbors upstairs stomping and thudding, the room was next to the lift, and we could hear hallway conversations word for word, waking us several times.
