For a traveler who just needs a simple night’s sleep without many demands, this inn is worth considering: the price is very low, parking nearby is plentiful, and it sits in a decent central spot; the room fits two people comfortably and feels like a regular rented suite. The downside is the stairs—if you’re on a high floor after a full day of activities you’ll feel tired coming back, the soundproofing is only average so you can hear doors opening in other rooms, and halfway through the night my eyes became itchy and swollen, possibly from a mosquito bite or the bedding cleanliness, so allergy‑prone guests should think twice.
The value for money is great, especially with your own parking and being close to Dongdaemun Night Market and malls; each room’s bed varies—J2, J5 and J7 are softer while J6, Z2, Z5, K1 and K6 are firmer, the ground floor offers a shared fridge and water dispenser (none in the rooms), the AC needs to be set lower than usual to feel cold, and every room has a fan. The building has no elevator, and any reservation that doesn’t list the floor ends up on the fifth floor, so I wish the provider would clearly show the floor level to avoid disputes.
The air‑conditioning was cool enough, but the sound insulation was poor.
The price‑performance ratio is excellent, with private parking and a location near Dongdaemun Night Market and shopping centres; beds differ per room—J2, J5 and J7 are on the softer side, J6, Z2, Z5, K1 and K6 are firmer, the first floor provides a communal fridge and water dispenser (absent in the rooms), the air‑conditioning must be set lower than usual to feel cool, and every room includes a fan (and there’s no lift, so any booking without a floor noted puts you on the fifth floor). I was surprised the host didn’t mention the missing elevator, which cost me an extra 40 yuan, and I would have preferred a lower floor.
I absolutely loved the inn’s owner and his wife—they’re amazing, even though I didn’t actually see them, I still left feeling very satisfied 🌈.
