The bed was the highlight, with plenty of space, a shower, and fresh towels. However, there was always a queue at the front desk, and both check‑in and check‑out took a long time. I couldn’t find a room‑service option for meals.

The front desk was very rude when I arrived, demanding to see my Australian passport and additional proof of my citizenship, and for my partner they asked about his visa status in excessive detail, which felt unnecessary. I had an uncomfortable incident at the spa: everything was fine there, I asked to charge it to my room, but then a printed message was left on my door saying I needed to pay the spa bill. My room keys wouldn’t open the door, so I had to go to reception to pay for the keys to unlock my room. I’ve never experienced such an embarrassing situation; normally everything is charged to the room and paid at checkout. I felt treated like a thief! The restaurant and our dinner at night were excellent, and breakfast was really good.

The room had a good view, was comfortable, and the bathrooms were cozy. The heated pool was too cold, not as warm as it should be, and it wasn’t very clean; the staff present there seemed lacking in attentiveness.

The staff were very friendly overall and we had an amazing time. The only downside might be the lack of options for children, such as a nursery or activities.
