The Hotel Elgus Nature Retreat is absolutely the best hotel we’ve ever been to! From start to finish it was a fantastic experience. The staff are top‑class: always professional, caring, smiling, and ready to meet every need with extreme kindness. A special shout‑out to the Baby Club animators—they were simply incredible! Our daughter Melania was totally thrilled; their passion, energy and sweetness won her over right away. She had so much fun that she didn’t want to leave! The atmosphere is wonderful, service impeccable, and every detail is attended to. We’ll definitely return!

“More ambition than ability”

The common areas were newly renovated with a stylish design and the food is really good, though it’s pricey. The hotel claims to be a wellness destination, but it falls far short. Service is extremely slow and uninterested, and the wellness facilities are minimal—just a rooftop spa with one finish sauna and one pool. Many small details are missing, like a stylish gents washroom that lacks paper towels or a hand dryer. Overall, the hotel is too expensive for what it offers; I’d rather pay 50% more per night for a proper wellness hotel or spend half the money at a “normal” hotel.
