If you’re after a cheap base to hit the local trails, this little chalet does the job. It’s basic but has a fully equipped kitchen, so you can whip up your own meals. Sr Reinaldo was always around, friendly and ready to help.

The inn was spotless and smelled great, exactly what you want when the weather turns cold. It stayed nice and warm all night, and the kitchen had all the utensils you’d need. Would definitely recommend it.

We liked everything about the place – Sr Reinaldo and Sra Julia were incredibly attentive, the rooms were clean and well‑organized, and the location near the BR was spot on. Nothing felt missing, and we even got a little plant as a gift for my wife. Thanks for the care!

Got a warm welcome from Sr Reinaldo and Sra Julia; they made me feel right at home. The bed was comfy, the place was spotless and neatly arranged, and they gave great tips on nearby attractions. A cozy mountain setting close to the best waterfalls, farms, and the Itatiaia National Park – I’ll definitely be back.
