We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless, the sheets very clean, the bed huge and very comfortable, and the bathroom was also very clean—clearly they take great care of the property. With only two rooms, the atmosphere is very quiet. The owners were very kind and attentive throughout. On the downside, there was no hot water, which is fairly common in many Sri Lankan accommodations. Breakfast was adequate but simple (eggs, toast, fruit), and the restaurant food seemed fairly ordinary. The location is quite remote with almost nothing around, but if you have transportation it’s not a problem. Overall, it’s a highly recommended place, especially for its cleanliness, comfort, and the hosts’ hospitality.
