“Overall, a comfortable stay with a few areas for improvement.”

The accommodation was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay, but a few things could be better. The hot water shower didn’t work when we arrived, so we had to ask staff to fix it. The room telephone also failed when we tried to use it, though it seemed to connect when the property called us. We found stains on one bed sheet and had to request a new one. On the bright side, the food was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall environment was very relaxing. We ran into a billing issue: the bill was first calculated in USD and then converted to Sri Lankan Rupees, so we asked for the local currency rate instead, because the converted USD rate was higher than the local rate. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but attention to these details would improve the guest experience.

“Nice setting”

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its beautiful garden. However, I was kept awake at night by the constant humming noise coming from the electrical system. It was a bit of a distraction, but the garden made up for it.

I was initially drawn to this hotel's picturesque location, which was easily accessible despite a slightly misleading sign. The staff were extremely accommodating, and the pool was a lovely addition to the property. We were treated to a delicious dinner, and the peaceful atmosphere in the evenings was a welcome respite. However, we encountered some issues with our room, including a delay in check-in and a lack of basic amenities.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the pool and food were top-notch. Unfortunately, we encountered a few issues - the hot water was nowhere to be found, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned to our standards. Despite this, the staff's hospitality made up for the problems.
