The location is fantastic in the city, both for sights and public transport access. The hotel is high‑quality without being overly pricey, and the architectural design is impressive. The lobby restaurant is pricey and not up to par.

The hotel is very well situated, though I only stayed one night in SFO – the BART station is right outside. The room was huge with a balcony that gave a superb view of the bay. Getting to Pier 39/Fisherman’s Wharf is either a 20/25‑minute walk or by streetcar. There’s also a small shop in the lobby where you can buy coffee, juices, water, and food. The elevators can be slow depending on the crowd.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. The hotel is huge and I really liked its style and atmosphere. The location is excellent, and everything felt clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. I also had a partial view of the Bay, which was nice, although I would have loved to have a full Bay/water view. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Both check-in and check-out were very quick and smooth. I also appreciated the hotel credit/voucher provided for each day of my stay, which could be used for purchases inside the hotel. Just keep in mind that it needs to be spent during your stay and isn't refunded if unused. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again. The comfort, location, cleanliness, and service made it a great experience. Valet parking is expensive at around $99 per day It normally takes around 10–15 minutes for the valet to bring the car, so it's better to call ahead before leaving
