“Peaceful environment, overpriced for what you get.”
The view was amazing and the surroundings truly peaceful. The accommodation is overpriced. The listing is misleading – there are hidden costs that should be clearer at booking. The BBQ isn’t included; it’s part of the fire pit that costs a whopping £30. In 20 years I’ve never stayed anywhere where a firepit/BBQ costs extra. Even though the charge for the firepit was made clear (though it didn’t say how much, we assumed a tenner max), nowhere did it say you had to pay for the BBQ. It also mentioned charges may apply for dogs, but at no point until you’ve paid are the costs explained, which seems unfair and misleading. Future customers need to be made aware of this.
