The room was cozy, parking was plentiful, and the hotel is one of the very few in Kuldiga with a 24‑hour reception desk. Don’t expect anything fancy or luxurious, but if you’re after a reasonably priced, snug stay in Kuldiga, this place is worth considering.

The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are noisy, there is no storage in the room, and the sofa and armchair are worn and stained.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. The rooms lack air‑conditioning. The hotel has two sections—one boutique and one more like a hostel—but that isn’t mentioned when you book. There are mosquitoes and no screens.
