The breakfast spread was diverse and healthy, with croissants and coffee that were truly outstanding. The hotel sits right on the main pedestrian route to Vicenza’s sights, and the staff were very helpful, suggesting nearby dining spots and locations. The room, however, was noisy because of the main street, and the shower required a bit of time to reach the right temperature. Apart from that, nothing else bothered us.

The front desk team was very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. However, we were not completely satisfied with our stay at Palazzo Scamozzi. The name suggests a historic palace, but only the entrance gate and the façade evoke that heritage. We felt the price we paid was far too high for what was offered; at €260 per night we expected more. The hotel is marketed as a boutique hotel, yet our room was fairly standard and definitely not spacious. Even a bottle of water cost extra. There is no bar or common lounge area. The breakfast room was quite dark, and the buffet only had sweet items.

The location is great and central, the breakfast is fine, and the bed is comfortable. The room is a bit small and only has one chair.
