“We wouldn't stay here again”
The heating was off in this room and it got really cold. We had paid for additional nights but left early because it was so cold.

Very convenient, easy to park. The bed felt like sleeping on a brick, the TV was broken, the bath needed a non‑slip mat, plugs were in the wrong places, there was no dressing table mirror, and no hairdryer.

The hotel sits in a lovely village with easy walking access to parks, grocery shops, pubs, restaurants, churches, and bus services that can take you to train stations, plus an outdoor garden behind the building. Martin, the host, is very accommodating to any reasonable requests. However, finding the entrance was a bit tricky because it wasn't obvious from the road and the signs for the restaurant below dominated the building.

A smooth arrival, the host was quick to reply and a friendly gentleman welcomed me and guided me to my room. The place was tidy, offered water and hot drinks, fresh towels, and the room itself felt nice; an iron was also handy for the wedding I was attending nearby. I wish there had been a hairdryer and breakfast, but that’s not a deal‑breaker, and the carpet on the entrance floor was a bit dirty.

I sent a message about the odor issue and haven’t heard back. I’ve also filed my complaints.
