The farm had plenty of animals to observe and our room was very spacious with a large bed; much of the food seemed to come from their own produce, which was interesting. However, the obvious fact that it’s a farm with free‑roaming animals meant there was droppings everywhere, making it unsuitable for very young children who can barely walk—this isn’t a criticism of the place but an FYI for anyone who might not have considered that. There was no proper introduction to breakfast options, and it felt chaotic and expensive for what it was; for example, porridge or fried eggs were available but you only find out if you specifically ask, and you’re not offered many alternatives to the locally made produce. They had cow’s milk to be fair, but using duck eggs and goat’s butter for breakfast altered the taste, yet it wasn’t explained what was different from ‘normal’ when ordering or when it was served. It seemed random what was offered and the standards weren’t steady—one day there was cow’s milk, the next day it wasn’t; the same with mediocre rye bread and an amazing apple juice, each only available one of the two days; homemade jam varied from a perfect rhubarb to a much too runny berry version; and there was a shortage of non‑instant coffee on one day. There was no real introduction to any animal program; no schedule was given for when you could watch goats being milked, scavenge eggs, feed rabbits, etc. If you’re around, the host will let you know if something is about to happen, but that’s about it in terms of a schedule.

Meget fint og god stemning, men navigationen til gården evt tydeligt kort.

Super Lage. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Toller Bauernhof. Sehr netter Gastgeber

The location was great and the farm very interesting with animals everywhere, and the nearby beaches were beautiful; the host spent a lot of time with our daughter to show and feed the animals. On the downside we arrived a bit early, and instead of simply saying “apologies we’re not ready yet,” the host quickly prepared the room (very nice) but then complained about us being early multiple times, which wasn’t very nice. Dinner was nice but quite expensive, and breakfast was not included. At one point the host began to complain about slamming the door, which our daughter did once, but even after we stopped, they kept telling us repeatedly that slamming the door would damage the house, which made us eager to leave; this dominated our experience. Also, the kitchen was not very clean.
