“Padova stay”
I was close to the station, the staff were helpful, and the room was clean and spacious, but the city part was interesting.

It was the worst experience of my life, far below their standards. We can't even call it a hotel. Think of a building where immigrant families live on the upper floors; only the ground floor has rooms. It's not a hotel, it's a bad building in a location with security issues. When you enter, drug users and street people who live there ask for money. It's a place where going out at night is hard. The room door is protected by a simple old key lock, which gives no sense of safety. I never slept on the bed, but the sink smell in the room was very unpleasant. I went to another hotel at night. (A nearby 4‑star safe hotel at a 30% higher price). When I went to drop off the key in the morning, a crying baby and its parents were in the kitchen. There was no reception, no English‑speaking staff. Seeing the condition of the place, I left without staying at all! I had booked for three nights, but I had to go to another nearby hotel and spend more money. My reservation fee was not refunded. The bathroom and toilet were shared. I didn't see the “shared bathroom and toilet” notice when I booked. I've booked many times, never had this mistake before! They say the “shared bathroom” notice wasn't clear enough, so my fee wasn't refunded! It's a place that shouldn't exist. I'm uploading a photo of the building, you can see it. (The photo is real, not AI‑generated or from a horror film.)

The location was good, but the structure was bad.

The room was very nice and clean, and it was close to the railway station. We stayed two nights, and on the day in between we took less than 40 minutes from the doorstep to Venice St. Lucia. The walk to Padove's historic center is longer, but manageable.

The room was very beautiful with a stunning bathroom. The location was great, only five minutes from the train station.
