Wyndham Garden Hotel - Jacksonville

“Due to the circumstances of my stay it wasn't a vacation but I was extremely comfortable.”

The person who checked me in was totally awesome and made me feel welcome. I told her that I needed a room because my home AC had broken, and she was very empathetic, saying I could let her know if anything else would make my stay more comfortable. The first room’s AC was cooling well, and she didn’t hesitate to move me to another room right away. She did a great job with her customer service. The bathroom was clean but is due for an update.

The overall property and location were convenient, and there were some positive aspects to our stay. However, the front desk service and housekeeping were very limited. During our three‑night stay, we only received bathroom cleaning after complaining, had to request fresh towels late at night, and the coffee and amenities were never replenished. There was also a noticeable musty smell in the room and elevators. Most disappointing was the lack of any follow-up after we raised these concerns.

Other than the location, which is hard to reach from the highway, everything was good.
