Stadtoase Kolping Hotel

“Отличный выбор для путешественников на авто”

Parking inside the hotel building is very convenient, though the spots are narrow; we were lucky to snag one at the edge. The breakfast selection is excellent, even offering freshly squeezed apple, carrot, and beet juice. Rooms are simple but adequate. The parking is paid, and there’s no pre‑reservation option.

“A nicely refurbished hotel in Linz with a touch of history.”

A centrally located, nicely refurbished hotel in the heart of Linz, just a stone’s throw from the main sights; the staff were very approachable and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent—otherwise nothing noteworthy.

Breakfast was very good. The large underground parking has an internal entrance to the hotel. The location is decent: about 400 m to the new cathedral, 200 m to the main representative Landstraße, and 1200 m to the Danube. There’s ample space with tables, armchairs, and chairs for guests, giving the hotel a pleasant overall impression for 1–2 nights. It would be better if a kettle were available.

“Can see it would be a good base for outdoor types but maybe not city types.”

The room was spacious, modern, clean, and well equipped with double glazing and fun electric blinds; a booking issue was resolved immediately and I appreciated the help. The only downside was its distance from the train station, bars, and restaurants, and it felt a bit overpriced considering that.

“überraschend prima!”

Breakfast was very good, with more variety than one could try in two days, especially healthy and fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere in the breakfast area was exceptionally pleasant—otherwise hardly anything.
