The staff were friendly, the food was carefully prepared and clean, and the view was great, but the noise from the harbor kept me up until late at night.

The staff and owner were professional and welcoming, the food—especially the fish, goat meat, or chips with guacamole dip—was excellent, breakfast was good, and the lake view from the rooms and bar was superb, leaving us feeling highly appreciated.

The hotel sits a little outside the city so you need to call a ride to get around, yet the Lake view room was very relaxing and perfect for someone like me who likes to take it easy; I expected fresh air daily, but a dirt road separates the hotel from the lake and trucks hauling soil and rocks run back and forth from dawn till dusk, sending dust and exhaust into the room, so I couldn’t enjoy the balcony and had to keep the doors and windows shut.

I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast on the lovely terrace, complete with fresh fruit and coffee - it was a great start to the day. Although we were slightly disturbed by the noise from passing cars and trains, it added a touch of authenticity to our stay.
