“Consigliato!! Una bella sorpresa!”

The owner was extremely kind, the rooms were new and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and dinners were exceptional. Wi‑Fi was great but there was no phone signal.

“Wunderschöne Gegend zum Wandern und gut Essen.”

Clean, new, simple rooms and bathrooms with shower and bidet. Absolutely quiet at night. Very friendly operators. The kitchen is a dream—regional cuisine with a personalized touch from the house’s son: a small menu full of tasty surprises, so good that we ate there every night, and the value for money was very pleasant. Steak with oven potatoes—never eaten so well (served twice perfectly medium‑rare with sea salt flakes; recommendation: order the super‑fine cabbage salad with crispy, delicious bacon). Breakfast was great value for what was offered (warm croissants, excellent coffee, cake, and on request very thin ham and cheese—there’s a cheese area). The location is on the pass, the immediate surroundings are currently affected by construction; but the mountains are dreamy (red marble quarry), waterfall hikes in Pozzis or down to the Tagliamento. In mid‑September, many motorcyclists during the day, but at night it’s wonderfully quiet.

I stayed in a fresh, new room on a lovely route and enjoyed a delicious dinner, but the decor felt a bit awkward with cold lighting, there was no TV, and the breakfast was very simple.

“Un invito a ritornare”

We felt right at home, everything was perfect, and it was the best way to escape the chaos and truly unwind; the room and bathroom were clean, spacious, and recently renovated, breakfast was excellent, dinner felt like a chef’s indulgence, and the staff was extremely kind and pampered us throughout the holiday.
