“NU RECOMAND.”
I stayed in the central area, near Unirii Square, and the room was a 2‑bed twin on the 5th floor, a small attic‑like space with an old smell, PAL beds that were a bit saggy, and mattresses that were plain. The bathroom was tiny, the shower cabin old, plastic and in bad condition, looking like an employee room. I chose to stay here because I was in transit and wanted to get to the airport the next morning, so I thought one night might be worth trying, especially since I hadn't spent much time in that area. At similar prices or with a 50‑lei increase, I had stayed many times in very good apartments in the same good area. The room cost 290 lei (instead of 190 lei) if taken from reception. I wouldn't have written this review if not for the rude attitude of the receptionist. In a parking issue (which doesn't exist or is taken by others in the area), she used a tone and a verbal style that seemed like from a rough neighborhood, not a hotel receptionist in the city center. The other hotel staff (manager, another receptionist) were fine. CONCLUSION: I do not recommend. Both the room and the experience with the receptionist led to this verdict.
