“Kein Frühstück”
The hotel had charm, wasn't brand‑new but was acceptable; I booked with breakfast, but it wasn’t provided and I wasn’t told about it at check‑in.

The location was convenient, but the restaurant didn’t open for breakfast, the room light was broken, it took 5 minutes of running water to get hot water, the taps made a screaming banshee sound, there was no temperature control or air conditioning, the window wouldn’t close or lock, and street noise was loud; it was expensive for what it offered.

The staff were helpful, the room was basic but usable, dinner was fantastic with great food, drinks and atmosphere, and the shower felt like a massage—worth returning for that alone. The location was beautiful and I saw seals outside the water. The decor was a bit tired and neglected, not as clean as I’d like, the stairs were shaky and the corridor to the upper rooms felt cheap and flimsy, and it was puzzling that breakfast wasn’t offered despite having a dining room, which would have improved value for money.

The restaurant was fine for dinner with good staff, but it wasn’t open for breakfast and the location was good. I was unhappy with the check‑in: the staff’s attitude was poor, especially when I requested a ground‑floor room; there was no explanation and I had to carry luggage up the stairs. In contrast, the onsite restaurant staff were amazing, though the room was very cluttered.
