The food was very good, both breakfast and dinner, the staff were friendly and attentive, there was a grill night on Wednesday, and the terrace offered a wonderful view of St. Johann i. P. and the mountains.

Staying there was wonderful and the atmosphere felt truly welcoming and warm, with great staff, food and wines, all run by the Gschwandl family who showcase classic Austrian hospitality. The only downside was that we wished the stay had been longer; otherwise everything was perfect.

Breakfast was excellent… the pool, sauna center, and relaxation zone were superb, especially after a full day of skiing… the staff were pleasant… transport from the hotel to the main ski lift… travel from the slope directly to the accommodation… simply relaxed.

“Gerne wieder zum Skifahren oder Wandern”

The view is dreamy, the location is wonderful. Service is very friendly, even the childcare— we felt comfortable. The rooms and dining room are pleasant and bright. The spa area with sauna and pool was truly enjoyable and well designed. The dinner is unfortunately not particularly tasty, especially vegetarian dishes feel outdated and more like side‑dish versions. There is great potential to raise the hotel to another level. A shuttle to the lift in Alpendorf is needed, especially during off‑peak times when the snow doesn’t reach the hotel. A shuttle service exists, but it’s not very frequent.

We liked that it was a family run hotel, the food, the spa facilities. Rooms were comfortable and had beautiful views. Nothing that comes to mind
