Breakfast (continental) was pre‑ordered individually and delivered to the room on time. The room was newly furnished and immaculate. The location is a bit out of town but only a 20‑minute walk.

From start to finish the stay was perfect: fantastic hosts, a great location just a 10‑minute walk into town, a spacious room, and a great breakfast selection. I’d be very surprised if anyone found anything they didn’t like.

This guesthouse is absolutely spotless—everything is brand new and sparkles. Carl and Sue are perfect hosts, never making anything too difficult and sharing a wealth of knowledge about the area, such as where to park, nice walks, and places to eat. The views are stunning, and little touches like binoculars let guests spot wildlife from the comfort of their room. The Velvet room I stayed in was incredibly comfortable, with a fab mattress, pillows, and a very quiet location, and I slept great. Breakfast was delicious, especially the superb fruit platter. The room had everything you need: an iron, ironing board, safe, plenty of coat hangers, tea, coffee, a fridge, USB charge ports, milk, water, and basic toiletries. It was cozy with plenty of hot water for a brilliant shower or bath. It’s a hidden gem, and if you’re lucky enough to stay here, you’ll have an incredible stay. It was all perfect.

The place was beautifully furnished and equipped with lovely touches, the hosts were very friendly, and the views were wonderful. All was wonderful; just be sure to follow the hosts’ directions to the property, as the entrance is a little difficult to locate the first time.
