The staff’s service was excellent, and the place is a bit quirky because it’s an old family house turned into a hotel. I would have expected more detail in the room for the price paid, such as better quality sheets and blankets.

There are places in the inn to relax after breakfast, lunch, or dinner, like small rooms or balconies. The house, which is old (with family photos everywhere), was turned into an inn and has heavy décor that gives it a gloomy, dark feel similar to a Hobbit house. The garden is neglected, one lamp was broken, the bathroom exhaust didn’t work, and the shower stall is ridiculously small. There’s no prior information about accessibility: a wheelchair user or someone with hip or knee problems can’t book this inn because it’s a never‑ending staircase climb. It feels like a witch’s house, and the inn is very poorly maintained.

The place feels cozy and spotless, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The room had everything I needed, the breakfast was tasty and full, and the common area of the inn was a bonus that impressed us with its view and the all‑day beverage table.

The inn is easy to reach from Avenida San Martín, and the breakfast area offers a nice lake view. Room nr 4 was spacious and comfortable. I highlight the excellent cleanliness and the attendant who ran breakfast, who was very kind and attentive. The breakfast area itself is basic and cramped, with only two tables; when they’re full, you’re forced to drink coffee on the sofa, which is uncomfortable. The breakfast itself is simple and lacks variety. In room nr 4, one of the mattresses was in poor condition and quite uncomfortable. The place is advertised as an inn, but it felt more like a family Airbnb, with many photo frames, personal items, and a lot of rules. Check‑in also left me feeling uneasy about the reception. Wi‑Fi worked poorly and I could barely use it, even though the weather was fine. The location isn’t great: although it’s easy to get to San Martin street, it’s far away and involves a steep climb.

The proximity to the port is great, and the lady who serves breakfast is very friendly. The heating is too hot and can’t be lowered because it turns off. Other than that, it was fine.
