I live in Sapporo, where summer is very brief, so I used this spot as my base during Silver Week to catch one more week of summer vibes. It was a smart choice, convenient for exploring various spots around Shōnan and for surfing. The staff were welcoming, and the place was cozy and clean. I’d definitely stay again if I’m near Tokyo and want a quick surf getaway.

The spot is great, close to the sea, the Grand Buddha, and quiet. The accommodation was overall dirty, and the staff were too absent to discuss it directly, so I have to mention it here, sorry.

The bedding on the two‑tier bed was clean, and I thought the other guests behaved well. At night, with no staff around, there were various notices but the living room AC was off and no remote was found; we endured the humid heat and everyone turned the main power on themselves. The time until lights went out after the shower was unpleasant, so that could use improvement. Being unable to exit through the front door until 9 am was a bit inconvenient; some solution would be nice.
