“U did t stay there because they said there was no room”
They messaged me saying there was no availability, even though Booking shows a room was left, so I felt they had other plans for it.

Nothing good, and the experience was very bad.

The staff were welcoming, caring and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and it was just a short walk to the river and the road – all good!

The staff are great: enthusiastic, creative, quick and always reachable; they find extraordinary solutions and even brought a kettle to the well-equipped room! The view of the river is simply wonderful, letting you enjoy the calm and steady flow of the Volta. The recommendations for a boat tour and dinner were excellent, and the staff handled any issues so that even as a solo female traveler I had no problems – thanks Messi & Michael! The pool was still full because the big festival was coming up, so they had to change the water… If you want room service, leave the room card at the hotel. An insect screen for the balcony would still be desirable.

It’s a dream spot: from the room you see the Volta River and the palm trees along the shore, and I think this estuary is one of the most impressive places I’ve visited. The hotel provides a boatman who can take a two‑person excursion for about 35 €, sailing the Volta and its islands – highly recommended. Beware, there are many scammers in the area who will charge you five times more for the same thing; it’s better to talk to the hotel manager. I also recommend the trip to Keta, where there’s a great beach and a pristine lagoon that would have been like the Mar Menor in the ’50s. It takes two hours to go there and two to return, and there are accommodations there as well. This hotel is fantastic: tropical hardwood floors, excellent views, interior parking, decent breakfast, and a price that’s more than fair. The hotel lacks maintenance on small details – a loose lamp, things like that – but fixing everything shouldn’t cost them much. There are few nearby restaurants; another hotel on the main road has a restaurant even if you’re not a guest, and the staff will bring you food from a somewhat shabby nearby restaurant if you ask.
