“While the hotel has some positive aspects, we do not recommend it to our friends.”
The place feels more like a 3‑star than a 5‑star, even though the location is great—close to the airport, Kayseri center, ski slopes, and surrounded by mountains. The ski room is handy, with heated lockers for gear, and the instructors for skiing and snowboarding are very professional and helpful. The spa team is excellent, and the outdoor pool is a nice treat when it’s warm. Food is decent with a good variety, and the staff are friendly and genuinely try to help. On the downside, the building is old and many areas look worn from heavy use. Cleanliness is a big issue: common areas, rooms, curtains, floors, and corridor carpets are visibly dirty, and dust builds up on surfaces above 1.65 m, showing a lack of thorough cleaning. The pool water is colder than advertised—listed as +29 °C but felt closer to +23 °C, and the children’s pool was even colder. There are two saunas, but usually only one works and it’s not available all day; you have to ask staff to turn it on and then wait almost an hour for it to heat up. The steam room was out of order most of the two weeks we stayed. The hammam is only for spa treatments, even though the specialists are great. The kids’ club is nice but cold and smells strongly of smoke because there’s a nearby exit used as a smoking area.
