The staff were efficient. During the day, when I opened the curtains, I could see someone on the roof of the neighboring building through the lace curtains. The room’s lighting was dim, which made it a bit uncomfortable, but if you’re just going to sleep, the price is reasonable.

The hotel is a 5‑minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and had everything needed for a one‑ or two‑night stay. The staff struggled with English, and there wasn’t much space for luggage in the room.

“Good value for a short stay, cleaning could be better”

The place is in a nice street near Matsumoto station and the price was good. It’s old and not well maintained, not very clean, and there was mold on the shower curtain.

“Solid, convenient hotel, would recommend if it weren’t for the wifi, but if that’s not a problem, the hotel’s good.”

The location is fantastic, close to the station. The room was big enough to fit three suitcases without taking up all the space. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were kind and understanding when we realized we had the wrong check‑out time. The Wi‑Fi was awful, working for maybe a minute before dropping, so I had to rely on other options. Also, there was no option to put a “do not disturb” or “clean my room” sign depending on the day – we had to decide at check‑in, and because we chose cleaning, we had to leave the room by 10 am each day.
