“BALEKFOGÓ 1-es apartman!!!!!!!!!!”
The place was neglected, only reachable via a gas ladder. Apartment 1 was described as dusty, smelly, vintage, but in reality it was a stale, unappealing nest. The doors were very low, causing constant head bumps; the kitchen was a mess with a century‑old smoking table and a broken stove. The dining table and chair were only in the courtyard, which is shared and has a dirty trash bin. The bathroom was below standard, no lighting, no proper mirror, the door was jammed. No climate control, no mosquito net, no Wi‑Fi— it didn’t work at all! After a long request, the TV finally turned on. There was a iron, but nothing to iron. We couldn’t even put our clothes in the suitcase because there was no wardrobe. The worst part: the pillows were on the mattress. The street was next to the main road, which is very busy, yet they forgot to mention that. We paid for 3 nights the same as a 5‑day palace in Croatia. The host didn’t understand our problems, wasn’t willing to cooperate, insisted everything was fine. After 1 night we fled! They wouldn’t refund a single euro. I understand it’s better not to meet the host, but in this case it would have been better to have money. Every year we spend 3–4 weeks abroad, but we’ve never been like this! We won’t get used to local stays! I do not recommend it at all.
