“It was fine. Only there one night”
The location is good and there’s plenty of parking. Extra blankets for the bed would be great, and we also needed cups for the coffee machine in our room; the mattress could be of better quality.
I didn't get a proper breakfast, but the restaurant was pleasant and filling.
The staff were excellent and the hotel had a restaurant, games, and a golf course, but the room was used by various animals; someone dumped animal food and water in the sink, and when an employee tried to fix it the dirt splashed up; I also found a sofa stitched with a needle, apparently torn by a dog, and the room looked like it had been through a pet; I was staying with a cat, cut its nails, and covered furniture with towels and sheets until I left, so I didn't feel comfortable, though the staff were great.
“Barely adequate”
The facilities need a renovation; they’re dark and dingy, reminiscent of the '70s or '80s. I’m used to staying at Hampton Inn, where it’s bright, clean, and modern. It’s not the worst, but you need to raise your standards a few notches.
“it was safe , convenient. too much money for accommodation”
The location was good, it felt safe and the staff were friendly, but the place had a torn screen and a dirty window, so if you're in Maine you really want fresh air; the toilet handle was hard to push, the bedding was thin, and there were no warm blankets.
