How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The old building is lovely, the rooms are large and comfortable with a good bed, and the food is good. The venue unexpectedly hosts Boxing Nights; that evening was very noisy in our part of the hotel until after midnight. If we had known beforehand, we would have requested a different room or chosen other dates.

The place has a beautiful character and the grounds are amazing. The chairs in the breakfast room were dusty and could have been cleaner.

Good check in, clean room, Good food. Encouraged to add Breakfast on to our booking which we did as it was served until 11am on a Sunday, but we got to Breakfast at 10.30 and there was very little left, and we were told there was nothing else coming out. Many people came in after us, equally annoyed and disappointed 😞
