Typical Sweden, just like the one from Michel in Lönneberga. It feels like stepping back into the good old days. The accommodation is simple yet very pleasant, though you have to consider the shared bath situation. The staff is very nice and serves breakfast at 9 a.m. in the main building a little above. Bikes can only be parked outdoors, but they can be safely chained. There are parking spaces at the house. From the accommodation you can walk, bike, or even go directly over the lake for exploration… just a classic mountain hut. The breakfast was simple and lacked variety.

The spot was gorgeous, with plenty of activities close by, tasty food, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The only downside was that getting to the bridge or dock for swimming and lake fun was a bit of a hassle; the buffet also felt a bit stale—by the time we arrived around 6, some of the main items were already gone.

Pretty views over lake Åsnen and beautiful flower gardens. Nice outdoor area for having breakfast etc. Short walk to the lake for a cold dip! :) Charming old fashioned interior
