“Beautiful country pub and hotel. Highly recommend it”
The location is superb, the building looks gorgeous inside and out, the garden is lovely, and overall the place is stunning. Nothing to add.
The food was excellent.
“A very disappointing stay.”
We had stayed there before and were hoping for a similar experience, and the staff were again very helpful. Unfortunately the room was very small because a pre‑wedding party had taken most of the rooms, and both the room and bathroom were cold when the weather had turned cooler, yet the hotel didn’t adjust. A large group with small children were noisy at breakfast, ruining the experience of being taken care of and enjoying a ready‑made breakfast that I’d otherwise have to cook myself. They seemed to ignore the other guests, mostly couples, who were also staying there.
