Dinner in the evening was tasty, the breakfast was ample and good, and the staff were friendly. However, given that this is Denmark’s oldest hotel, it still feels a bit dated; the bathroom had loose tiles and rust spots on the sink and shower, and we noticed there was no toilet brush.

The place was okay on the way to Odense, but it sat isolated along the road and felt deserted when we arrived; breakfast was satisfactory. Unfortunately, Bromølle Pro closes at 15:00 on Sundays, so we couldn’t have the dinner we’d been looking forward to, and the nearest restaurant is 5 km away. Also, after about 18:00 there was no staff at reception, so we had to find the keys ourselves.

Finding the hotel and parking outside was easy; it felt like a personal place with friendly staff, located quietly in beautiful nature. The rooms are in a relatively new annex and are very nice, each with its own terrace. Both breakfast and dinner tasted good. The only comment is that the schnitzel on the first night was a bit too hard‑fried, but it was still tasty.

Quiet and peaceful place, rooms and beds were fine, couldn’t complain. Breakfast was decent, just missed an egg. There was a bit of confusion with the access card; I didn’t know where to go, but there were people at the pub.
