A staff member was very friendly and helpful at check‑in, and the spot in Speyer is absolutely great. The breakfast, however, was rather mediocre; the buffet feels a bit cramped during the morning rush, so the price‑to‑value ratio suffers.

The location, staff and breakfast were all good. Every ibis family room should at least have a small fridge and an electric kettle, especially for families with young children, as these basics would make stays more comfortable and convenient. Please forward this suggestion to ibis central management for consideration.
