I was blown away by how close this place feels to living in a forest, yet with all the comforts you’d expect. The owner’s effort to create sustainable lodging on a hill is truly admirable, and I’m grateful to Terri for making it all possible.

The quiet hilltop spot with sea views was a treat, and I loved the plants, the hammock outside the cabin, and the cabin itself—everything was very simple and enjoyable. No complaints at all!

The spot is fantastic! Thierry, the owner, is very welcoming, knows the island inside out, offers great advice, and is very responsive and friendly. He put a lot of effort into building Tikaz Toukité, and it shows—this is truly an unusual accommodation! One small detail: I would have liked to be warned beforehand that hot water wasn’t always available.
