How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location is great, close to everything. The owner is very responsive and always in touch. We asked about safari options in Kumana National Park and they arranged a reasonably priced tour that let us see a leopard, which is typical in the area. The Wi‑Fi is unstable and often doesn’t work. A few improvements—better toiletries and a coffee/tea maker—would make the experience perfect.

The staff are charming and constantly make sure everything is fine. The room was spacious, the towels and sheets smelled amazing, and everything was new and very clean. The location is excellent, just steps from everything but still quiet. One of the best hotels we’ve seen in Sri Lanka—highly recommended.

Sehr sauber und zu 100% wie auf Bildern. Ruhige Lage. Neue Ausstattung. Die Ankunft- und Abreise war leider sehr unpersönlich und wenig herzlich. Deutlich unter dem Durchschnitt was man sonst auf Sri Lanka erlebt! Der Frühstücks- und Essbereich ist wenig einladend und dunkel. Nachts fiel der Strom einmal über mehrere Stunden aus und das Zimmer wurde entsprechend schnell sehr warm. Insgesamt wirkt das Gelände sehr offen und wenig persönlich, da es nur über ein großes Metalltor zur Straße abgrenzt ist und man keinen schönen Empfangsbereich hat. Daher als Gesamtfazit nur 8/10 Sternen, weil sich bei der Freundlichkeit die Spreu vom Weizen trennt

Everything was flawless; I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the holiday. The owner and the whole team are exceptionally professional, warm, and friendly. The rooms are impeccably clean, the air conditioner works perfectly, and the location is wonderful—close to all amenities yet still in a very quiet, peaceful part of Arugam Bay. The food is the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. We leave feeling like we’ve made true friends with the team here and are already looking forward to our next visit.
