The place is called Ponder in French, and it’s truly on the way, very close to the local castle; don’t miss the local apple cake, and the restaurant is excellent! Patrick was a wonderful conversationalist with broad knowledge of the rules and great local insight, offering many travel recommendations. The wonderful apartment that’s part of the hotel was truly delightful!

The staff were fantastic—Judith and Patrick were always friendly, helpful, and sociable, giving plenty of tips and information about the beautiful hiking surroundings of Mullerthal, and every employee was particularly helpful.
