The breakfast was amazing, even a “chocolate‑colored” egg from a Maran hen was included. The place has a very old‑world vibe with English flair, and we really liked it; we’ll definitely return. The downside was that the Messe and the price were quite high, and the ferry to Kaiserswerth didn’t run, which was inconvenient for us.

Everything was perfect, and there was nothing to complain about.

Breakfast was delicious and varied, offering rolls, bread, croissants, assorted cold cuts, eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, and muesli. The hosts were super friendly and we felt comfortable from the first minute, wishing we could stay longer. Our e‑bikes were stored safely in a secure room overnight and could even be charged there.

The owner was very kind, we had a good chat and got useful information. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The room was rustic, clean, and very quiet. I highly recommend this inn, and the area is great for cycling.
